Anse Major

Anse Major is an ideal spot for snorkeling and enjoying a secluded and beautiful beach.  It takes about 90 min. walk to get there on a coastal trail where you can even see dolphins. On the trail you will also be able to see the beautiful white vanilla flower

A little look back during the walk to Anse Major.

You can enjoy many beautiful points of view during the tour.

Except the path within the forest, we'll walk on the top of granitic rocks.

Another fantastic view of Mahé, and the beautiful turquoise ocean.

Some nice little "passages" under the granitic rocks...

Finally, we can see our destination : Anse Major.

A zoom view on the capes.

A little bit more near from Anse Major.

The beach from Anse Major.

View from the boat on the granitic hills we came from...

Le Morne Blanc

Coco-fesses

The sea coconut (Lodoicea maldivica) also called coco de mer, is an endemic palm of the Seychelles, nowhere else to find in the world, which the seed -the largest in vegetal world- is called coco-fesse, due to its awsome morphology, reminding strangely the woman anatomy. It requires many years to mature, giving then a fruit of a weight between 15-30kg. The coco-fesses in the wildness is only to find on the isles of Praslin and Curieuse. The best place to see some is certainly the Vallée de Mai on Praslin, which is also the refugee of the Perroquet Noir (Black Parrot), nowhere else to see too in the world except in this valley.
